Johor Day Out

After my KL trip, we decided to take a bus down to Johor Bahru to visit my dearest sister who is currently reciting there.

When we reached finally reached Johor Bahru at Larkin Bus Terminal. Me and my mum were walking around waiting for my sister to pick us up at the bus terminal.

We spotted a happy duo of a cameraman and a host walking around trying to get some interview 'victims' i guess. Holding a RTM microphone, I know for sure they are from RTM.

And...

I was right indeed. A demure Malay girl was their first target. She looked overwhelm after the interview, like: OMG! I'm interviewed by RTM. I must asked my mother, my father, my brother, my sister, and my friends; my uncle, my aunty, my grandmother, my counsins, my enemy to watch. Let them be envy.

And ya, I was just exaggerating. Hehe.

I wonder what they asked.

Next up, a petite Malay fella.

Why all only Malays? (No racisim intended, for real.)

I wonder more, what they asked.

Following, was an Indian interviewee.

Eh, Mr RTM Host, this two Gorgeous Chinese Ladies from Penang so free standing there, you don't want to ask us anything ar? We very smart you know.

The funny thing is, everytime they spotted a interviewee, my mum will definately go very very near to see what is he asking and what is he answering.

And Finally..

Hey, thats my MUM! Why she is speaking to a mic.........? And a camera shooting her.......?

Oh..Yes! She finally got spotted! As I said, she always go very very near to the crew when anybody is interviewed. After her fourth attempt, she finally got spotted. Haha.

And she posed like a Model. I mean TRY TO pose like a Model. Eh, Mom Mom, good try, but, erm...not like a Model la, sorry. =P

Giving her utmost knowledgable opinion.

" I think this should be....and....they ought to be...to warn them.....if not they don't know...they won't know....."

Haha. After she was interviewed, she got more excited then the Malay girl that I exaggerated just now!

*Upon Phey Chien's request, RTM host actually asked about: What is your view on the children-kidnap syndicate? What is the right measure the curb the issue? *

"Haha. I'll be on TV. I must sms my friends to watch it." (Aiyo my mummy.) "That cameraman told me I gave a fantastic answer. Good Good!""But, aiya, I forgot to ask him when will it be aired! " (Oops..! We went off right after the interview.)

I told her to watch RTM everyday, every second, then she will know when it's out. =P

We met up with my sister and she brought us for lunch at Sundanese restaurant to eat Sudanese Food.

It's hard for us to meet each other that much, since one is at North and another at South, we decided to take more photos together.

Actually, I'm the one who asked for the numerous shots, because I thought I didn't look The Best in the first two photos. XD

Third one didnt look The Best either..hmmm.

Now let's have some food..

How gluttony they eat, is how tasty the food is.

So how do you rate judging through their expression and the size of their mouth? *sniggers*

We went to Danga Bay at night. It's something like Gurney Drive in Penang, but not as HOT as Gurney is. In fact, very different lah, in terms of the Crowd and FOOD!

I Love Food in Penang. I reckon all Penangnites are all the time pampared with Paradise of Food, as I somehow always lost my appetite when I am out of Penang. Hmmm..Over-pampared that is.

But But, good thing is I seldom gain weight even I go travelling. However, the case differ if I happen to meet good local food guides. =S They often tempt me and make me eat and eat especially if i tell them "I'm actually control my food intake." =D

(Or in another words, "I'm on diet la")

Being very excited seeing a long-lashes plastic baby horse, I tried to fit myself onto it.

I had to push my big butt onto the tiny 'only-meant-for-kids' square-sized seat.

An oversized kid over an undersized horse. (But luckily it still fits.)

I, have a Multi-Millionaire Mind!

This blog was unattended for a couple of weeks. (Sorry, readers. (Although I do realise, I don't have a whole full spectrum of readers YET) )

The owner was occupied with uncountable events. Was also away from Penang, learning and hopping around KL and Johor Bahru.

On the 22th May I took a bus down to KL with my mum.

My coloured nails then were already losing its beauty but I don't have time for recolouring at home. And I was tooooo vain. So...

I brought my pink nail polish to paint in the bus. I grab the time when the bus stopped to apply and stop immediately when it moved. so thankfully I managed to finish one hand. Hee! Very V-A-I-N, I know. Hello, it's. just. a. seminar!

The 3-day seminar I went, Multi-Millionaire Mind Intensive, was a great blast with a participation of a near 5000 people. Imagine the crowd, especially during toilet and meal breaks. =S However, we did some jaw-dropped, extraordinary at the same time slighty, unbelievable exercises.

#Day 1

First up, was about burning our Tangible Truly Authentic Not-Fake-At-All Usable M100 paper note! No joke! We were asked to bring RM100 note, of course, not knowing what are we supposed to do with it. Eikk..! Burning it with Real fire was the last thing anybody would think of! Do this calculation quick: RM100 x 4,800 ppl = RM 480 000 approx burnt! Cra-zee!

Before that, many people was trying to bring out the biggest value of note they had with them. Some with US 100$, some England 50 pounds, some HongKong dunno how much. When the trainer announced it, they quickly change into some notes of smaller value, in this case, Malaysian Ringgit. -.-

I initially dare not let go of my RM100 note. eh, RM100 ok? My own RM100 ok? But anyhow, I manage composed myself to the idea that if I don't let go of my RM100, how am I able to earn back a million ringgit or preferbably a million US Dolar? Right Right? So, OK! Burn-lah.

(Notice my pink nails? XD)

We were lining up ready to walk towards the candle used to burn the Money$$. Happily and Innocently, I thought,YEAY, RM 100 burnt, US 1 000 000 $ come.

Half-way through, "Ok, guys, that was just a test to see how you respond to the exercise. Now, get back to your place!" A HUMONGOUS sigh of relief and cheers filled the entire hall. You can't imagine how these people felt, it's like they already a Million Dolars. People used to say The Power of Love, now this explains The Power of Money. Haha.

Skip #Day 2

# Day 3
(Warning: The follwing post will be out-of-the-mind outrageous stuntman act, please to do attempt to demonstrate it by your own, nobody will be of responsibility if you do. Please, Life is precious!)

You see or not? ARROWBREAK EXERCISE! Don't siao siao! We performed stunt even. Seriously, we did.

Everyone were asked to sign a Release Form, so that no parties are to be blamed or put on reponsibility if anything unfortunate were to happen. But hehe, touch wood lah.

Before we started our 'stunts', each group of ten were given a thick hand glove, rubber goggles and the main act of the day, The Arrow.

The Arrow actually has a nice aroma of wood. Smell so nice...emmmm...

Some people were so "depressed" having to do the exercise or even just to sign the release form, they tried to...

kill themselves? Apa-la.

And they just wouldnt stop trying.

With The Arrow, we were asked to write down our fears towards money. And make a breakthrough by breaking The Arrow using your the soft part of the neck, the fleshy part. I wrote down my fears.

What?

"Your fear is using money? Then why do you need money since everything is about using money?"

"No need to live la. Or better give me your money, I'll be more than willing to spend."

Yayayaya...That's why I'm making a breakthrough. Break The Arrow, and from then onwards, Use Money! Good or Good?

3, 2, 1...ACTION

Break it with all your might and trust. Belive, I can!

And...

I did.

Our whole group did. In fact, the whole 4,780 participants did it.

It was such a thrill we made it through. Overcoming our fears and obstacles. We, made it. We, have a Multi-Millionaire Mind. =)

Meet Paul. So old yet so young. XD and so Fun!

This trip to KL was a great learning and breakthrough.

Thankfully me and my mum's accomodation were so well taken care of. Thanks to Uncle Su. But what I miss most about the house is...

this black little thing that jumps and runs enthusiastically when it sees us everytime. The little Blackie.

But see how cute can it get when it grows really big. Bark like don't know what already la.

A Ruby-ly Suprise.

It has been two weeks which my seniors, apart from finding time for their studies, doing their best to organise a Suprise birthday for the crowd-favourite, youngest lecturer, Ms Ruby. They had an alliance with Ms Ruby's boyfriend to ask him to bring her to Batu Ferringghi just as their usual date and we would suprise her. =D

The evening right after our Mid-term test, we all agreed to meet at Batu Feringghi at about 7.30pm. As usual, the "M'sian time culture" never resist to show itself. Most of us only reach when the time shows 8.10pm. Common eh? But, no, not good. I followed my friend's car, so can't really blame me. XD

We decided to go to beach through Lone Pine. (I'm not sure whether it's a chalet or a hotel or what. But i know it's a temporary place for tourist to stay. =D )

We walked pass the guard house happily, talking amongst ourselves, giggle a little, when the guard noticed something was wrong: we are actually intruders of the hotel!!
He came up to one of us, and asked: " You all Hotel Guest ah?"

"Yayaya," we lied. =S

"What room number?" OOPS..! Er...er...Er...We were stammering..Oh shyt oh shyt, what should we say, what should we say..!!!

Wei Jin bravely gave it a shot: "Room 206" (er..this is actually one of our college classrooms. haha.)

The guard immediately: "no..no..no..no..no..cannot..this is only for hotel guest."

Fine! Hello! Like we want to visit your hotel. We are more interested with the beach then Lone Pine. The beach is public. The path leading to it is also public. Any members of public is allowed to go to public places using public routes. LOL. Unreasonable, i know. wahaha.

We walked further up, passing a 'real' public closed hawker place to reach the beach. We found a wooden beach table and started to set and arrange things up.

We laid the candles around the edge of the table and lighted them up. We were careful enough to make sure nothing is on fire. While we were rushing for time to prepare, Edwin did not help by bickering with Naina while she was trying to finish her job. They were really funny. I overheard some of the things they say.

"Your momma so fat, that when I watch TV, I missed three commercials when she walks pass."

"No. Your momma so fat that when I run around her, it took me three years to complete the circle."

"Right. Your momma so fat that...................................!" And they NEVER end. Haha.

And for heaven's sake, Mother's Day is two days ahead. So much about saying other people momma. Haha. (But, a good one, eh?)

Ya, LOOK at me. I'm Miss World. Naina, the American girl.

Finally we are done!

They gave Andrew (Ruby's boyfriend) a silent call. And yup, they are walking towards the beach, strolling towards our direction.

" On the cue of 1, 2, 3..'Happy birthday Ms Ruby!' "

She was utterly shocked!

On the subsequent second, she was like: "OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG" for don't know how many thousand time. She was so touched. Her eyes went red and the tears kept streamming down. It was some tears of happiness! Haha.

"How could you do this to me..!"

"Thank you Thank you Thank you! Thanks a lot"

"OMG, really Thank you."

We ate KFC. It was moments of happiness for me too! I love KFC too much. *munch munch* Mmmm..Mmmm..Chicken chicken. Oooohh..KFC. So tastyly delicious! Yummm..It's finger linkin' good!

In between the party, a Horse-Rider interrupted to us, showing off his brown handsome horse. The horse all of a sudden won Ms Ruby's stardom of the night.

I want to make friends with him. But i was too afraid. XD

OK.

Time for cake.

Let's make a wish.

*I wish I wish I wish...I wish all my students can get an A for their exam..Oh, how I wish I wish I wish*

Eiik. That was actually our wish.

"So, Ms Ruby, You know what to do for our exam, right?"

"Ms Ruby, you are very touched right? Give us an A for our exam!"

"Ms Ruby, exam all A already ya?"

She keenly nodded her head. Ya Right. You wish la. Dream on!

Ya, the cake was too super duper nice that Ruby's nose would also want to have a bite.

Of course, we put on the party not to get an A. It was out of our senior's sincerity and thoughtfulness. Eii...So Sweet!

I know u enjoyed yourself Ms Ruby. Thank everyone la. Haha. =P Hope you have a wonderful year ahead. And Birthday wishes coming true. =)

Tribute to My Mum

You Raise Me Up.

My Ever-Dearest Mummy, Maryirene Ooi,

I love thinking,
Reminisce events by events,
Fliping through pages of you……

Your footprints, all the time, by my side
Whatever I wish, whatever I do, whatever I want,
You stand by me, held me strong,
Even if I ever fall,
Your petite body never fail to hold me,
Your small figure pours out
the GREATEST support ever found on earth.
Mum, Thank You.

You always give me what you could,
The love, the kisses, the hugs, the passion,
Tugged me in with a great sense of confidence;
You lead me the path to walk L.I.F.E,
The advice, the reminders, the scoldings,
They are like flies around my ears, (only SOMETIMES)
But I know so well,
They are just some sweetest candy on earth
coated with thick bitter gourd syrup. Yucks!
BUT
Mum, Thank you.

You are Extraordinary.
You always do what other don’t.
Impossibles are never in your dictionary,
Sometimes, even if I have the wildest dreams,
You still show the most genuine encouragement,
You form me more than what I can be.
Mum, Thank you.

My best-ever-best moments on earth,
Are all the time spent with you.
You raise me up,
You light up my life,
You shower the love,
You sparkle my eyes,
You laugh like nobody’s business with me,
You hold my hands tight,
YOU made me who am I today.
Mum, Thank you.

Mum,
You are the Best gift God has ever given to me,
You are my Mother, my Friend, My Star,
The Emperess of my Heart.
I LOVE YOU.

You know well the things we have done togther are more than what I wrote.
I have too many to write, too little space to offer.
If I continued, this post will forever never end.
But don't worry, they are all already saved in my heart.

And I want to say again,

I LOVE YOU.

Happy Mothers' Day to every Greatest Mother on Earth!
