Zheng Yue Chu Yi

正月初一! Dong Dong Chiang!

Haha. Nola. Wasn't that fun and excited.

Oh it means, first day of Chinese New Year if you don't read chinese. Heh.

My Chinese New Year this year felt different. It's such a distance away from how I felt when I celebrated Chinese New Year so hectically when we were all younger.

Like how we used to be so Busy:
-visiting
-picking the best cookies in the rounded spinning tray
-drinking packets and packets of Chrysanthemum drink
-taking angpows
-eating steamboat
-peeling the tangerin oranges
-playing fire crackers
Last but not least, busy getting fatter each and everyday

All these somehow slipped away. Sigh. I was eagerly waiting for Chinese New Year to arrive, to wear my new year dress but ended up got me having a boring 正月初一.

Dad wasn't around to celebrate together due to work. So CNY 2010 was really different without having a handsome Daddy to see the first thing in the morning.

I put on a red hot chilli pepper dress on 正月初一 but I didn't get to show off my awesome dress to a lot of people. In the morning, a few relatives came but aiya, good things need to let more people see. So let me show off to you hereee. ;D

SDC16615a

THERE! ;D

Red dress on the first day of Chinese New Year!

Purposely put the pink flowers there to make in more CNY-ish. Hahahahahahaha. Lame shit.

My heels are damm awesome. But they made my feet wanna scream every step I take. T_T

Poor feet.

Ohhh. Show you my makeup too!

SDC16544

Actually not much make-up. Hehe.

I just want to show you how exaggerated I look in my dramatic eyelashes that I purposely bought to look funny.

I don't usually wear falsies, not even for my performance. The last time I wore was for, hmmm, Halloween. Hahaha.

Anyway I kinda regret wearing it cos I actually like the dramatic eyelashes look. Die liao. That means I would wear it more often than I would expect myself to. Geees. I officially announce fake eyelashes as my addictive new friend.

My poker card earrings is awesome rightt. Bought it from Bangkok! Wore it so that I can win in my chinese new year gambling session. (didn't exactly work though =S)

Basically, me and mum stayed at home for whole day except for dinner, while sis and her boyfriend went out to celebrate Valentine. Sigh. Super sien okay. Keep watching the Taiwan CNY Game Show filmed on 2008 only. (My house is Astro-less)

So sien that I decided to camwhore with mummy.

SDC16548a

Took super a lot of shots. Only this one turned out right.

Fast forward to dinner at night. (Unless you want to know the content of the Taiwan CNY Game Show 2008. hahaha.)

Don't expect to get good food during CNY. We stopped by at a hawker place that we've never been to and fill our stomach with whatever food that doesn't require long waiting time.

The place was packed. We still had to wait a bit for our food, so I used the time to camwhore a bit again.

SDC16553

The two human beings on the left laughing happily cos they are holding some lottery ticket and were saying some prosperous words so that they will strike the number on the next draw date. Hahahaha.

SDC16560

Mirror at hawker place!
Sissty and mee.

My smile damm slutty. Must be because of the eyelashes. Or the hair.

After dinner we got back home and did some part in polluting the air.

Sorry, but what is CNY without some fire crackers! Hoho.

SDC16573

Actually didn't really pollute the air la. I'm a Go-Green person, is just that I'm wearing Red on that day.

Hmmmm.

Sorry. Too lame. I know. :DDDD

We spend most of the time playing the flaming sticks only. Okay, actually I don't know what are they called. Flaming sticks, is just because it sounds a bit cooler.

How nostalgic.
SDC16572a

Both of us used to be big fan of this flaming sticks when we were still little kids, running round and about not knowing how big this world is.

We would wave the sticks around and I will sing some tune to the swaying.

I remember I barely had hair on my head at time. I looked funny and people would mistaken me as a boy.

Hahaha. Cute lil' girlish boy.

Those were the days! ;D

SDC16574

Haha. I think I was singing to that tune I sang when I was a little kid.

SDC16576

SDC16584a

Don't tell me you have never played this before, I will laugh at you. ;P

Even if you really never play before, just don't tell me. Cos I don't know how long I will laugh.

Of Sunrays, Seaside and Sea

I knew my holiday was ending soon, and I knew I had to do something fun and relaxing before I go back to the routine of attending college. So one sunny day, I decided to ask my mum and my favourite niece to have a play day by the beach! :)

Oh oh! not forgetting my cutest dog ever, Money, too! hehe.

There's nothing I can say about beach except for its beauty and tranquility, even for that, it's self-explanatory. Going to the beach is always relaxing, recharging and happy.

So, I'm just gonna let the pictures do the talking okay? :D

On the way there:

That ever awesome driver.
Seriously, I'm not bragging. I love to drive and I am really a good driver. HAH. :)

Kiss Goodbye:

Scrotching Passion

Scorching Passion

It was definitely a wonderful beach day, that brought me happiness and fun: to find myself playing under sun; to run on the sandy beach; and to splash on some salty sea water. Nature can never be anymore perfect than ever.

Btw, Beside the first 3 photos, the rest are just taken by my handphone. My camera die on me when I was using it, I had no choice towards that alternative. Anyway it still turned out good, I had a very happy day though it was short and I didn't really get the tan I wanted. :)

The Dog @ Bath

Being readers of my blog, I decided to reward you all something very nice for the eyes to see this time.

Thank You for all the support that you have given to this blog and I'm so happy I have (FINALLY) reached over 10, 000 views (in one and a half year's time -.- very slow and lame lo actually) and this is the gift that I'm gonna splurge you all on.

I will show you the photos of someone bathing. (did i just see your eyes sparkle?GEES.)

Wait. not someone, should be somedog.

My dog.

My Money Dog.

More stories about my dog, click here.

I have not been blogging anything about her, since she first came to our family. She has all the while been the princess and gem at our home, everybody loves her like crazy. Everyone that comes to our house loves her, anyone that sees her loves her, if anytime I bring her out, she'll grab all the attention that I am supposed to get.

GEES.

When she's at bath, she's even cuter than ever.

Bath 2

Bath 3

She's tooooooo cute right?

There's more! =D

Bath 4

Dad and mum bathing her. (so romantic for what. haha.)

Bath 4

The pail she is in now...used to be...

my house rubbish bin. =S

but i swear it's already super duper clean now! No traces of rubbish or the smell anymore. You can come and check.

Day # of Project 365 (I have yet to organise my Project 365 =S)

Anticipation

She wonders what's coming up next. :)

Bath 5

Last wash on your small lil butt and you are done! Just stay there okay! Haiyo.

Next, Blow-dry time!

Hair dry 1

That black thing that emits strong constant hot air is her biggest enemy.

She dislikes that hair dryer.

Hair dryer 2

See what I mean? She really hates it.

I think inside her heart she always prayed that she's botak (bald) then we don't have to use hair dryer to dry her up!

Her coat is long and thick. We need to blow it for a while, comb it a little to separate the cluttered hair, blow again and comb again and blow.

It always takes around an hour just to make her clean and dry. Gees. Expensive dog. I don't even take 5 mins to bathe.

Nola, siao. i'm just lying. I don't know how long I take but definitely more than 5 mins okaay. haha.

Fluff 1

Oh, she's done bathing!

I hate that expression of her. Makes my parents pity her and give her food that she's not supposed to take. She's no.1 actress okay. Gees. Can go and try her luck at some Hollywood Award already. Aiyoyo.

Fluff 2

My Money dog. =D

Her name is really MONEY if you don't know yet. Hehee.

I love love love you Money.

Thank you very much for the joy you have bring to our family.

(By that I mean both literally, the dog and the $$)

Hee.

Family Movie-Midnight-Out

My whole family went for a midnight show on Thursday.

Damm cool la my family. I think. Haha.

We watched Night in the Museum 2.

It's like a movie the 4 of us are so eager to watch but we can't find the time where all four of us can make it. So we decided to just watch the midnight show when everybody else would be free. We don't do this often though.

We were in a rather big theatre but with very few people. If I didn't remember wrongly, two other couples and two families. My dad was kinda excited with the whole 'movie-night-out' thing and was talking so loud in the theatre.

Because, there were less people, it makes his voice even louder. He was telling me things like:

"wah, it's been some time since I came to cinema for a movie. What was the last movie we watched together? Oh ya, Money not Enough 2."
"How come the cinemas has so little people only, how can the cost be covered?"
"Eh, see, I can put my leg up like this." (then he showed me proudly how he can put his legs up comfortably and carefreely)
"Where's your drink? Let me have a sip."

I just can't help laughing and responding to his enthusiasm.

I was afraid he was too loud so I told him: Eh, don't talk so loud la. Can you talk softer like this? (Then I talked to show me what my 'soft' meant)

"Loud? How can this be loud? I didn't talk very loud."

Then the branding commercial of the film production company starts playing. So I was telling my dad, Oh, it's gonna start already. Don't talk anymore.

This clip was shown.

My funny dad was watching it and then translating it out in Chinese to me '二十世纪狐狸'.

Argh. How can my dad be so cute and funny. I ♥ my dad!

I think Night in the Museum 2 is a good movie. Although it's not as amusing as the first one, of course, because we already knew that the story is again going to around the plot of museum displays coming back to life, but the story is still as interesting.

Besides that, it always has some wonderful value to offer. This time around it was the key to happiness. Watch the movie, then you'll know. =)

Oh, I super love the cupids that are in the movie.

Halfway through the movie, my dad fell asleep. LOL. His justification was it was too cold that's why he fell asleep. I can't really take in what he said because he's a guy that goes to Genting without any jackets or long sleeves or any warming clothing and walks outdoor. He's also one that kept teasing us: Cold meh? Cold meh? Where got cold? You see, I don't even need to wear anything extra. Aiya, it's not cold la. Take off your jacket.

But he fell asleep in a cinema because it's too cold.

And that quirky guy, is my dad.

I ♥ my awesome family. =D

Happy CNY: Kiddy-overdose

I see a lot of bloggers blog about how sad and boring their Chinese New Year is. Hello, where did all the fun go? Nevermind, let me spread the happiness. =)

As Chinese New Year is always the season for get-togethers, I spent quite some time with my nieces and nephews this year.

I never really like kids before. I think they are unreasonable and noisy. Annoys the hell out of me. But there's one lil' kid that changes my whole perspective towards these innocent ever-happy-go-lucky beings.

She is my niece, Queenie. A real sweetheart.

She has grown to be a 9-year-old primary school kid now. But still a darling. ;)

A week before CNY, I was shopping in Gurney Plaza with Lee Phey Chien, and coincidentally there were a bunch of kids from a kindergarten performing on the stage at the main atrium. I couldn't help screaming looking at the adorable and pinchable kids, like I'm seeing Jay Chou. They way the sing and sway like they own the world, made me smile and laugh from eye to eye. I realise a few parents kept turning round, and giving me that stare with each excitement I made.

Lee Phey Chien couldn't help laughing at my behaviour. She told me I've changed.

I frantically clarify my fancy towards kids and lalalalala. She kept me mouth-shut with a simple sentence: It's a good change, ok?

Hehe. Ok.
The expression of the blue shirt boy! If he's a grown up guy, I might faint of charm overdose.

My youngest niece. I helped name her!

Her hobby is sucking. Sucking thumb. Sucking her own thumb. Sucking her own left thumb.

While everybody else is so into the CNY gambling, the beautiful aunty didn't want to play so their parents assigned her to bring them to the playground.

See? I told you can faint of the charm overdose.

(I hope he stays this way forever because usually beautiful kids won't stay beautiful after they reach teenage and subsequently adulthood; and is the other way round for not-so-good-looking kids. This is proven fact because I am so very the super duper ugly that people tell it straight to my mum when I was a little kid. She asked me my mum: 'Why your daughter so ugly one?' Walao.)

See? I told you is the other way round for not-so-good-looking kid, or for my case, ugly kid.

Charm overdosage Kid No. 1

This photo totally melts me down. Hello, how can you resist such a stare? Put the age aside first. If someone gives me that stare, I would probably die.
Charm overdose ma.

Sweetheart Kid No.2

My favourite darling niece

She probably hasn't possessed the C-factor (charm-factor) yet. But beware: It is this type of kid that could kill and melt you down, with just that simple smile. =)

Charm overdosage Kid No. 3

The charm-overdose's younger brother. Charm Overdose Junior.

He's too reserve. It's hard to capture the best moments of him. He hardly open his mouth to talk. It's sad that he keeps his smile down most of the time. I want him to be as happy as his brother. =(

Being with them is fun. They kept giving me good poses and ASK me to take their photos. They are vainer than me, I swear. I can see their future as some big-time model.

No joke. It's seriously in their blood.

Oh yeah..!
