My purple hottie!

Hip Hop has never been part of my dressing sense. Seriously, if you see me many times enough, or just any one time, you'll know that my daily 'Dressing-up Game' has never included hip hop style. I guess it is because it's just not my thing. Hehe.

I don't know how I was suddenly so drawn towards ankle-high sneakers recently, I believe most of the influence come from all the other dancer friends of mine from my vocal school! Gees. They have them in so many shocking traffic lights colours!

I don't like how bulky these shoes are and how bulky it will make me look since I am already quite a big size person and also especially I have a giant pair of feet.

But anyway, this very one day, on a Monday night, I walked into Pull and Bear at One Utama and spotted one also purplish and also an ankle-high, but in a male size. I took it off from its rack and placed it beside my right foot, stood sideways and look into the mirror on my right side. From a distance, it was as if I was putting in my foot into the shoes.

Well, this shoes does look good on me babeh. haha. But I don't find a reason why I should get it since I don't dress that way. So I put it back to the rack and pick on the females' shoes rack instead.

I came back to Penang and went to a sports apparel retail. Spotted another pair purple ankle-high sneakers and went even more excited after looking at the price! So excited, but I still didn't get it. I still can't find a reason why I should get something I don't usually wear.

Over Christmas, I went to Singapore. Subconsciously, my brain was pushing my body into every Puma boutique that I walked passed. To my dismay, they do not have that colour in the entire Singapore, according to one shopkeeper. Sigh.

I was a tinge bit worried that what I saw wasn't what I saw and all that purple Puma shoes that I saw was an illusion in me that was formed due to my sudden arise of interest in ankle-highs!

Haha. Wtf. Suddenly so creepy.

Anyway, after I came back from Singapore, I goreng a reason to bring my mum back to the shop where I saw my first love. Hahahah. Anyway, so here it is! :D

I tried on and my mum happily bought it! Weeeheee. Awesome or not!

Now I really have to dig into my wardrobe and see what can I do to my purple hottie! Await some different Dressing Up game from me!

One more day and we'll be stepping in a brand new 2011! Make your resolutions and commit to achieving it. I've stopped making resolutions since few years ago, fear of not achieving it at the end of the day. This year, I promised myself to make my 2011 a great year and I will list my new year resolutions and really achieve it! I've enough of not-so-great years slipping by with a blink of an eye, with no proper aim and not so much of sense of achievement, so this year I am to make it really awesome.

That's my word.

Well, life is great, IF YOU choose to make it so!

正月初一！ Dong Dong Chiang!

Haha. Nola. Wasn't that fun and excited.

Oh it means, first day of Chinese New Year if you don't read chinese. Heh.

My Chinese New Year this year felt different. It's such a distance away from how I felt when I celebrated Chinese New Year so hectically when we were all younger.

Like how we used to be so Busy:
-visiting
-picking the best cookies in the rounded spinning tray
-drinking packets and packets of Chrysanthemum drink
-taking angpows
-eating steamboat
-peeling the tangerin oranges
-playing fire crackers
Last but not least, busy getting fatter each and everyday

All these somehow slipped away. Sigh. I was eagerly waiting for Chinese New Year to arrive, to wear my new year dress but ended up got me having a boring 正月初一.

Dad wasn't around to celebrate together due to work. So CNY 2010 was really different without having a handsome Daddy to see the first thing in the morning.

I put on a red hot chilli pepper dress on 正月初一 but I didn't get to show off my awesome dress to a lot of people. In the morning, a few relatives came but aiya, good things need to let more people see. So let me show off to you hereee. ;D

My heels are damm awesome. But they made my feet wanna scream every step I take. T_T

I just want to show you how exaggerated I look in my dramatic eyelashes that I purposely bought to look funny.

I don't usually wear falsies, not even for my performance. The last time I wore was for, hmmm, Halloween. Hahaha.

Anyway I kinda regret wearing it cos I actually like the dramatic eyelashes look. Die liao. That means I would wear it more often than I would expect myself to. Geees. I officially announce fake eyelashes as my addictive new friend.

My poker card earrings is awesome rightt. Bought it from Bangkok! Wore it so that I can win in my chinese new year gambling session. (didn't exactly work though =S)

Basically, me and mum stayed at home for whole day except for dinner, while sis and her boyfriend went out to celebrate Valentine. Sigh. Super sien okay. Keep watching the Taiwan CNY Game Show filmed on 2008 only. (My house is Astro-less)

So sien that I decided to camwhore with mummy.

Took super a lot of shots. Only this one turned out right.

Fast forward to dinner at night. (Unless you want to know the content of the Taiwan CNY Game Show 2008. hahaha.)

Don't expect to get good food during CNY. We stopped by at a hawker place that we've never been to and fill our stomach with whatever food that doesn't require long waiting time.

The place was packed. We still had to wait a bit for our food, so I used the time to camwhore a bit again.

The two human beings on the left laughing happily cos they are holding some lottery ticket and were saying some prosperous words so that they will strike the number on the next draw date. Hahahaha.

After dinner we got back home and did some part in polluting the air.

Sorry, but what is CNY without some fire crackers! Hoho.

Actually didn't really pollute the air la. I'm a Go-Green person, is just that I'm wearing Red on that day.

We spend most of the time playing the flaming sticks only. Okay, actually I don't know what are they called. Flaming sticks, is just because it sounds a bit cooler.

How nostalgic.

Both of us used to be big fan of this flaming sticks when we were still little kids, running round and about not knowing how big this world is.

We would wave the sticks around and I will sing some tune to the swaying.

I remember I barely had hair on my head at time. I looked funny and people would mistaken me as a boy.

Hahaha. Cute lil' girlish boy.

Those were the days! ;D

Haha. I think I was singing to that tune I sang when I was a little kid.

Very Black Hair Day

Gonna write on some ancient news. I always update my blog so slowly that if you are the kind that wish to sometimes take some time off the congested real-time news that is vastly available out there, come and read my blog and u can feel that time actually slows down a lot more with all this outdated news being wrote here. ;)

So, oh yes. It's still about my hair. The story hasn't reached its happily-ever-after ending yet.

Especially now that is already Black. Very black in fact. Black until if I stand in front of a big black screen, I will look as if I am Ms Bald.

Let me tell you why this happen.

So I did say I dyed my hair right, my new hair story, just a few posts below. I was so happy with the colour and how my new hair looks good on me every time I look into the mirror. Hehe. So after a 3-day hair washing inhibition after a hair-dye, I washed my hair.

Hair stylist told me the colour will still fade around 20% after your wash, so 20%, okay, I am fine with that. But it's so not true! The colour went back nearly to my original hair colour state, the brownish-golden kinda colour, and it was in the form of a few patches and it was ugly and no one even realised that I actually did something to my hair!

So I went back to the shop and the hairstylist did some mending for me.

And it became what it is today. T_T

So black like baa baa black sheep you know T_T

A lot of people complimented the new hair colour and that it suits me more than my previous colour. Few others prefer my previous hair. Hmmmm.

I prefer that one that I redye. Sigh. Now I have to wait for a few more months to dye it again. I can't get used to it everytime when I look into the mirror. Oh well, but like what Whitney Houstan sings, "learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all!" Not very relevant but I will learn to love my black hair! ;)

Anyway, evidence to show you how baa baa black sheep-ly black my hair is.
