太恐怖了Terrifying shit
My humble black Kenari, which is parked JUST outside my house was broken into.
You say 恐怖 or not 恐怖? (Terrifying)
Hello, it's bloody in front of my front gate, with the lights of my living hall and gate compound switched on and that petty prowler decided to try his devil's dare on my small car hoping to get some small fortune from it.
Pathetic.
You might ask me how did the thief manage to break open my car or is my window smashed into pieces or things like that. Let me explain.
So, after we came back from dinner, my dad just slip the car key into his pocket cos he's gonna go out soon after anyway. While we were chit chatting, my dad accidentally sit on the car key and the car went unlocked. We didn't care much cos it does usually happens: He will sit on it and unlock the car.
After some 5 minutes, he was moving around while talking, unnoticingly sat on it again, and locked the car back. By that time, he realised he would have to go out already. When he was wearing his shoes, he heard a noise of motorbike engine starting. He wouldn't care much though, cos it's nothing peculiar about that.
But when he walked towards the car, he found out the co-driver's car door was opened. With things from the dashboard all messily thrown onto the seat. The coinbox was forced out from its compartment and you know well that it was all, taken away. Those tiny amount of cents were not even given chance to stay.
Nothing valueable was stolen cos we all should know very well nothing valueable should be left in the car. The society is getting more terrifying, more than you could ever imagine, more than how you would not want to admit it.
Within that short period of 5 mins, my car was hastily being broken into. 5 mins. Who would expect that 5 mins of accidental unlocking of your car will lead you to someone breaking into it? Mind you, is only 5 mins.
I kept saying: 太恐怖了 to my dad. Simlutaneously reflecting back how many careless times I have had forgetting to lock my car, not for minutes but hours; and thinking how many times have I escaped from the misfortunes. Everytime when it happened, I silently convinced myself: aiya, no one will know my car is unlocked one la, plus nothing happen also what, nevermind, as long as I really remember to lock my car the next time. And the same incident would repeat.
This time I reckon, is a not a coincidence. Maybe it's purposely making a point for me to really double check everytime before I leave my car.
I silently feel very blessed for this very minor incident and the protection that I have always been under. ;)

Shaheen Jafargholi
The embedding is disabled so I can't put the video here. But here's the awesome link, to listen to the awesome voice:
Britain's Got Talent 2009's Shaheen Jafargholi
I've listened to it like hundred times. And everytime I listen, there's some tremendous reaction of goosebumps due to his awesome voice and his cute face and cute smile and cute dimples!
I don't know why but I think Susan Boyle has been so overrated. This young boy here belted a way more impressive performance.
Even the notorious Simon Cowell gave him a standing ovation. So how can you miss this merely 12-year-old fantabulous awesome talent?
Watch now!

First ever Bouquet
My name on a ubiquitous brown envelope that is cliped to a huge bouquet of pink roses with a ring of statice, topped with mini-berries look-alike in orangey red with a wooden cowie paper clip.
Super pretty. =)
I was dumbfounded and I literally blurted 'Oh My God' when I saw my name on the envelope. Never had this crossed my mind; not out of the blues that I will receive a bouquet with 99 pink roses.
And it's my first bouquet in my entire 19 years of my life. (a bit late i know. hoho.)
"I have always wanted to do so. But now it's because it's either now or never. And so I want to give now."
How sweet.
Thank you very much, You Jing.

A night from the Geek in the Pink
But heck, he's too good not to write about. If under any circumstances that I don't knw the exact word to describe him, I can just use 'very very very very' or 'super duper uber' or terms like that tell you how amazing he was that night.
So...

Jason Mraz's Live performance, need not me to even mention, was definitely a total BLAST.
Although I don't even know 80% of his songs, besides the ubiquitous I'm Yours and Lucky, it was uber pleasurable just to listen to him singing with his superb unbeatable vocals, watching him having fun on stage, seeing him showing off his skills on guitar and embracing his quirks and cheekiness.
He's a fantabulous musician, singer and performer, all packed in one body.
I travelled all the way down to KL for his concert held in Stadium Negara and went together with my super sweet and lovely and favourite friend, You Jing.
Stadium Negara is one size smaller than Stadium Merdeka where I attended Jay Chou's World Tour concert just February last year. (I still remember it's on a 23rd!) But it was a full house concert definitely. And I think Jason Mraz's audiences consist more of pure good music listeners, than Jay Chou's crazy screaming fans.
Nothing wrong about screaming fans of Jay Chou, both of them just have different markets. After all, I'm part of Jay Chou's bunch of crazy screaming fans.
Alamak. Why am I even comparing both of them. Sorry, I shouldn't. Really shouldn't.

Our tickets were the Rock Zone category and since we hurried to get the place right at the divider, we are only around 60metres to the stage! Woot. So the ticket we bought, I think, is super worth the value.
BUT I didn't have a camera with me, besides my pathetic camera phone. So I only had some pathetic shots of Jason Mraz on the screen.
As the concert started, there were seven musicians on stage, handling the trombone, trumpet, saxophone, bass, percussions, keyboards and drums; the man himself on his signature, the guitar. The first song to serenade the crowd was 'Make It Mine'. The whole stadium couldn't help singing along with him. The whole song, how cool is that. (I think is cool la. Hehe.)
Now I cannot forget the 'hah-la la la hah- la la la I-la la la la love you' part.
He charmed the audiences with improvisational skills. So actually, singing along with him is a bit hard, cos we won't know when is he going to drag the note so long and then push it up using his falsetto and sings through the running notes and then end it with a twist that you have never heard before. But he can make it so good that you would want MORE!
He somehow has the ability to make his less familliar tracks very enticing. The entire audience will just sway along with the music, while he did his job.
The heat was at the peak when he introduced the start of his biggest hit 'I'm Yours', using his guitar, the very familiar guitar sliding melody. I was most enthused because that's the song that I really really know of. -.- Haha. I video-recorded this part of the concert using my phone. I ended up hearing myself than him singing. Alamak.

If you want experience the atmosphere that night, go Youtube, go Youtube, super a lot.
The whole team suddenly bid goodbye after an hour of performance later.
What? Ended already? It's only one hour. Then You Jing said the lights were not on yet, there's gonna be more. Then I recalled on Jay Chou's concert, true, all the singers like to buy their share of 'encore' from the audience using this technique. Hoho.
So ya, don't leave the concert on the first goodbye. They are actually asking you to shout 'encore' for them.
More shoutings, more 'We want more', more 'Jason! Jason!'...and then...
...the happy guy hops out cheerfully again!
This time with a very diplomatic cut-off sleeves T-Shirt, I ♥ KL.
I ♥ the shirt, but I want a T-shirt which says I ♥ PG, don't want KL. Haha. Anyway!'Lucky' is up! Yeay. I thought he wasn't going to sing because he can't be inviting Colbie Caillat all the way to M'sia, to sing ONE SONG.
So we were all waiting, who is it gonna be?
"If she's not coming out, all of you will have to sing..!" with a very funny accent, said Jason Mraz.
When the Colbie's part is up, no female singer was in sight, so everybody joined in the thrill! Until the chorus...still no Colbie-to-be and then suddenly..poof..Penny Tai, appeared on the stage singing to the song.
Jason Mraz closed the concert with the song 'Butterfly' and put a beautiful full stop to the wonderful concert.
This concert is damm good and this could even be an understatement. As what his latest album says, he danced, he sang, he stole things - our hearts! Maybe it is because of his perfect vocals, his quirky moves on stage, or just his smile, this concert is definitely one to remember for long. He's so damm good! Argh.
I ♥ Jason Mraz
and
You Jing.

Not-your-average-bear
*I forgot his name* (But I'm sure he's a male. =D)This, mind you, is not JUST another white plushy smiling-to-you bear.
You will be shocked when you hear the story behind.
It did not just blow my mind away, it blew my brain away.
Now let's have a short interview with the owner of this *I forgot his name*,
Tan Veen Dee.

Fern: You sleep with 'him' every night?
Dee: Yes, is my favourite bear. But you should see how my sister talks and plays with him. She makes him as if he's real.
Fern: Oh...how come your sister plays with your favourite bear?
Dee: Actually is my sister's bear. Hehe. And I tell you, there's once we went travelling by plane, and my sister specially booked a seat for him.
Fern: *Jaw-dropped, eyes expanded.* HAR????!!! You mean, like a seat under a name and no one is sitting?
Dee: Yala, just one seat for him.
Fern: OMG. Like your sister booked a seat for a bear? I mean for a PLUSH TOY BEAR??! And you have to pay for the seat for a PLUSH TOY BEAR??!
Dee: Ya.....
Fern: And your parents are ok with it??
Dee: Uhm..Ya.a. My mum loves her too much.
My jaw-dropped and dropped and dropped throughout the conversation and I was instantly stunned and speechless. Love? You call this LOVE HER TOO MUCH? You pay for your ******* bear to have a individual seat on plan. And it's out of LOVING HER TOOO MUCH.
Wow. I'm impressed.

It's ok to be obsessed with a plushy-oh-he's-smiling-to-me bear. But to the extent of letting him an individual seat and PAY FOR IT, like what we as humans do, I don't want to say what I think about it. But....argh. I can't help it, IT'S FREAKIN' RIDICULOUS.
Why don't you buy the seat for a human that might not even have the chance to be on a plane for his/her entire life, instead?
Sometimes the love of parents is hard to decipher. But the rational way to raise up a child, I'm so sure, this time, her move is not correct.
Let her sulk and cry or doesn't want to eat, but no plushy-oh-he's-smiling-to-me bear is gonna deserve a paid flight seat.

Thank You.
Oh yes, however, the bear is still innocent and cute. Don't blame him. He does not even have a life.

Update: All of a sudden, I recalled his name!!!! It's 胖胖, as in fat-fat. Haha. Cute or insulting? Bahaha. I think it's cute. =D

KDU Idol Craze # 5 - The Finale
Who won?
As humbly enough as I could be, I would like to say:
Yes, your blogger over here, is the winner of the KDU Idol 2008.
Sorry if you don't like the results, but I LOVE IT! Hah!
I'm too thrilled that until now I can't believe that I actually won the competition!
I mean it was really a tight battle. There was even one who was more of a crowd-favourite than I am.
And one of his supporter 'boo-ed' me when I took over the mic to give the convention 'Thank-You my father & mother speech'.
And I really have to thank my lovely Mum for this. Without her, I'll not be as good as I was on-stage. Thanks Mum Mum! I LOVIE YOU!
Thank you everyone else that gave me their fullest support for this competition. And i mean every single person. =D I LOVIE ALL OF YOU! And in the midst of watching the rest performed, I actually lost all my confidence and no one knows, except Esther, that I broke down. Thanks for being there, if not I think I will pull my hair. Hahahaha.
I had a crystal trophy, a Guess watch and RM 100 Coffee Bean cash voucher as my award.
I love my crystal trophy so super duper much.

More stories and photos up on next posts. Video will be up as well when my friend pass it to me.
Again, stay tune. =)

A Beautiful Soul.
It was so touching. The little girl was just amazing. Her little hand danced melodically on the black and white keys, playing out every notes, every tune from her heart. She is such a gifted angel. Playing the piano just by her listening skills, she wooed the crowd with her wonderful soul in a tiny petite frame.
I couldn't help it. I watched twice and cried twice. At the minute she sang, "You are born to be loved", there were goosebumps in me and tears started streamming down. How innocent can she be? She knows her mission to be here is not to look down on her disablities of sight. But to cherish and appreciate her fabulous talent. To take and share to everyone what the Universe has given her. How can she not make everyone Love her? A beautiful soul.
At times, when I met obstacles in my music journey, I do doubt whether do I really have the 'It' factor to be in music. Am I really as talented and gifted as I thought I am? This video gave me the inspiration. If Ye Eun can do it, so does Chin Fern. =)

Smacker!
This was a photo I took on the first day of December last year, @ Gurney Drive. Didnt have a blog back then. But this is too cool for me not to share. K155.
This car so happened to be in front of my car. ahhh..!
For those who cant figure out what so special about this. Look, Look, Look and Look.
It actually spells KISS, with 'K', '1', '5', '5'.
This is how creative penangnites can get to. (er..i supposed he/she is frm penang? =S)
P.S Another proud owner of car in my blog.
Can I own it please?
THIS...

OMG, isn't she gorgeous?
I didn't mean the girl beside it. And she isn't the model for the car either..=P
I was having lunch with my college mates at Old Town in New World Park. When we were heading back to the car, I saw this fabulous-looking-thing beside my fren's parked car. It was only enough for two to be in the car. so so So SO SO GORGEOUS.
I forgot to take a look at the model name cos I was too excited to have a better look of the front when I walked pass the back of it. But it has a fancy "B" letter logo, if you have a closer look onto it. I love cars but I know nothing about cars. XD Not so much of loving them huh? Tell me what car is this if u know. XD (Perhaps Jay Chou would know..? XD)

I cant help it, so I took a photo on it. The owner must be so proud that his/her awesome possession landed a page on my blog. XD

Awww...Can I own it please? Pretty please?
